An extensive field work has been carried out by scientists and researchers in the first and second phase of the project titled Biodiversity Characterisation at Landscape Level using Remote Sensing and Geographic Information System. About 10,000 plots were laid down in the North East India, Western Ghats, Western Himalayas, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Central India, Eastern Ghats and East Coast of Mangrooves eco-system. This query shell provides a user friendly interface to the user to query on the database created from this field work. When you click on the link “Query Shell” the computer will ask for the username & password. Please enter the username & password assigned from INDIAN INSTITUTE OF REMOTE SENSING (IIRS).
