IPL 2023 Auction : The TATA IPL 2023 Player Auction will be held in Kochi from 23rd to 25th December 2022, and there are a total of 991 players registered for the event (714 Indians and 277 overseas players). The players list includes 185 players who have been capped, 786 players who are uncapped, and 20 players from Associate Nations that have signed up for the auction in Indian Premier League.

On the players’ list, we have 185 players who were capped, 786 players who were uncapped, and 20 players who were from associate nations.

  • A total of 166 players have been capped by international teams
  • Twenty players are associates
  • There are 91 uncapped Indians from previous IPL seasons
  • Players who were part of previous IPL seasons but are uncapped (3 players)
  • A total of 604 Indians are uncapped
  • Internationals who have not been capped (88 players)
  • The number of Indian players who have been capped is (19)

Gujarat Titans held a player trial at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad in the lead-up to the IPL player auction in Kochi on Dec 23.

A number of promising cricketers from India’s domestic cricket circuit participated in the two-day player trials on December 8 and 9. The trials attracted 52 players in total.

It was a memorable experience to win the Tata IPL on our home ground. Ashish Nehra, head coach and former left-arm pacer for India, said, “We are really looking forward to the next season.”
