IPL auction 2023 will be auctioned in Kochi on December 23. It is expected that the best domestic cricket players from India and around the world will compete in this spectacular event for a spot in the richest cricket league in the world. There will be a tug-of-war among the ten IPL franchises for the best batter, bowler, and all-rounder, given their goals and financial constraints.

There are 273 Indians and 132 other players, including four players from associate countries, who are expected to be among the 405 players whose futures will be decided by the teams over the next few months. As a result of combining the 10 franchises, there will be 87 vacant slots in the league. Of those slots, 30 will go to overseas players.

The base price for some players will be 2 crores for each player. There are several players that fall into this category, such as Ben Stokes, Kane Williamson, Sam Curran and Cameron Green. Each of Shakib Al Hasan, Jason Roy and Adam Zampa has a base price of around 1.5 crores while other players like Joe Root, Mayank Agarwal and Heinrich Klaasen have a base price of about 1 crore. A number of players have been grouped according to their respective price levels of 75 lakhs, 50 lakhs, and 20 lakhs.
