The video’s caption stated that the diversion sign, which usually provided traffic updates, now read “smoke weed every day.”

In May 2022, Rio de Janeiro was the site of another similar incident that further enhanced the city’s racy reputation. Upon arrival at Santos Dumont Airport, commuters were greeted with pornographic films playing on the screens. As passengers began sharing images of the screens within the airport, news agency AFP reported that the system had been hacked, resulting in the glitch.
